Medical Record Retrieval Specialist – Attorney Assistant | Remote

Attorney Assistant is looking for talented professionals to support our growing network of law firm clients in a variety of roles. We are continuously seeking qualified candidates to join our bench and be considered for placement as opportunities arise.

About Attorney Assistant

Attorney Assistant connects skilled remote professionals with law firms across the country. When you join our bench, you'll be considered for placement with our clients based on your skills, experience, and availability. We have both English and Bilingual (English/Spanish) opportunities.

Available Role

Medical Record Retrieval Specialist — Request, track, and follow up on medical records from providers, hospitals, and facilities. This role involves preparing and submitting authorization forms, communicating with medical offices to resolve delays or missing documentation, organizing incoming records for attorney review, and maintaining accurate case tracking throughout the process.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persistent, comfortable with repetitive follow-up communication, and able to handle sensitive medical and personal information with discretion. Prior medical or data entry experience is a plus. A strong command of the English language is required.

Schedule & Compensation

Starts at $5 USD per hour for bilingual (English and Spanish) and $4 per hour for English-only. Schedule will vary based on your assigned client's needs and timezone.

Here's what our team looks for in a GREAT video:

  • Brief discussion of your RELEVANT work experience and what you bring to the role.
  • Length of video is 1–2 minutes.
  • Great lighting and a clear picture.
  • Quiet, distraction-free environment.
  • Minimal background noise. Use a noise cancellation tool such as Krisp to assist.
  • DRESSED TO IMPRESS in professional attire.

Our team will request you to redo your video if:

  • The information you discuss is irrelevant or too personal.
  • The video is over 2 minutes long.
  • The background isn't professional, solid, blurred, or the AA background provided.
  • The picture and sound are not clear.
  • There are people or distractions in the background.
  • Your attire isn't professional (ex: tank top, old t-shirt, etc).
