Frequently Asked Questions

At Attorney Assistant, we call our virtual assistants Impact Assistants after they go through our rigorous recruiting process to make sure that you have the best possible people that we can place at your law firm. Impact Assistants truly make an impact and make a difference at your firm.

Yes. We have signed a contract with them that they are independent contractor freelancers. We will work with you to determine your needs and find the right Impact Assistant to accommodate them.

Depending on the tasks that we are placing for, we look for the background. Whether it’s medical record retrieval, admin work, or client-facing intake, we will vet the Impact Assistants based on the appropriate background experience to fit the role that your firm needs.

We work with a company called Black Talon to place security protocols on every single Impact Assistant’s computer. All of our Impact Assistants are HIPAA certified to make sure if they’re touching sensitive data, that you will be protected.

After signing your contract, we will schedule a “Pre-Go-Live” call with your Client Success Lead. During this call, we will identify the type of Impact Assistant you need to help meet your goals. From there, we will assign an Impact Assistant to work with you indefinitely.
Golden Hours are 5-9 pm and weekends when answer and conversion rates are highest. The Golden Hours package puts people in an outbound dialing role, working during these hours. This improves your chances of success by catching cases you may have previously missed.
Typically, the implementation is about two weeks from the time you sign your contract. If you have an urgent request, we can discuss your options to expedite the process during your pre-go-live call.
We utilize a program called “The Time Doctor” to monitor our team’s time, take screenshots, and record full videos. We guarantee that their time is accurately recorded, and that you are charged accordingly, while the Impact Assistant is compensated fairly.
We will provide training to prepare your Impact Assistant to the best of our ability. However, we suggest you have relevant documents ready on their first day since each firm has unique processes, procedures, scripts, and systems that require personalized training.
Unfortunately, this is not a model that we work with. If you do want to hire your people and employ them directly, there is a buyout termination clause inside of our contract.
