About Attorney Assistant
Attorney Assistant is a staffing solutions and virtual assistant company for law firms. We recruit, vet, and train full-time virtual staff, and the firm embeds them into its own team, systems, and daily processes.
We sell two things today:
- Staffline: a dedicated, full-time staff member for one firm, co-managed by us
- Frontline: 24/7 live intake coverage on demand, trained to qualify and sign cases
Our buyers are law firm owners and managing partners, mostly solo and small firms, with personal injury and contingency-fee practices as a core segment. We're based in Conshohocken, PA, and led by Ethen Ostroff, Esq.
The Role
You are the engine behind our paid pipeline. You'll plan, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns that reach a precise audience: law firm owners, managing partners, and firm administrators in the US.
You won't design the ads, and you don't need web design skills. The only content you write is ad copy, plus landing page copy if you want to own it. We have a full-time graphic designer and videographer who produces every asset. Your job is to tell them what to make, why, and what the data says to make next. Expect a fresh creative rotation every 2 to 3 days, driven by your briefs and your test results.
Attribution is everything here. You'll design the HubSpot automations that tie every click to a contact, a booked call, and a closed deal, and Claude handles the build. If you can't prove where a deal came from, it didn't happen.
Your loop, every week:
- Write the briefs for every new ad and test
- Design the attribution automations in HubSpot (Claude implements them)
- Monitor spend, pacing, and conversion daily
- Rotate creative every 2 to 3 days before fatigue sets in
- Tweak and optimize bids, budgets, audiences, and offers
- Explore growth by testing new channels, formats, and audiences
What You'll Do
Strategy and budget
- Own a $40K+ monthly paid budget across Meta, LinkedIn, and any new channel you can make the case for
- Build quarterly channel plans with targets for spend, cost per lead, cost per qualified booked call, and pipeline
- Shift budget weekly toward what converts, and cut what doesn't, fast
Audience and targeting
- Build precise audiences of US law firm decision-makers by title, firm size, practice area, and geography
- Run LinkedIn matched audiences, Meta custom and lookalike audiences, and retargeting from HubSpot lists
- Keep audiences clean, sized, and refreshed so spend reaches buyers, not job seekers or vendors
Creative direction
- Write weekly creative briefs for our in-house designer and videographer: angle, hook, format, copy, and the test it answers
- Launch new creative every 2 to 3 days and retire fatigued ads before performance drops
- Run structured tests on hooks, offers, formats, and audiences, and share the winners with the team
Lead magnets and funnels
- Launch one new lead magnet every week — you write the concept and the brief, the team writes and designs the magnet, and you run the campaign behind it (guides, calculators, audits, checklists, webinars)
- Partner on landing pages and forms that convert paid traffic into booked discovery calls
- Build and maintain nurture handoffs in HubSpot for every paid lead source
Tracking and reporting
- Own pixel, Conversions API, LinkedIn Insight Tag, UTM, and offline conversion setup
- Design HubSpot attribution workflows from first touch to closed deal, and partner with Claude to build and maintain them
- Use Claude to automate reporting, alerts, and routine account checks
- Post daily wins, flags, and tests in Slack, and deliver a weekly update and monthly review with clear next moves
Who You Are
Must have
- B2B paid media experience. Non-negotiable. If your background is ecommerce or B2C only, this is not the role for you
- 5+ years managing paid media, with at least 2 years owning $40K+ in monthly spend
- Hands-on, multi-platform experience: Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager are required
- A track record selling to business owners or professional services, with a focus on lead generation
- Proof you've run a high-velocity creative testing program and directed designers through clear briefs
- Attribution expertise — multi-touch attribution, offline conversions, and closed-loop reporting in HubSpot
- Claude and AI automation skills. Critical. You use Claude daily to build workflows, automate reporting, and move faster
- Slack fluency. Critical. Our team runs on Slack, and you'll live there
- Comfort with tracking setup: pixels, Conversions API, UTMs, and offline conversions
- You live in the US and can work Eastern Time business hours
Nice to have
- Experience marketing to law firms, legal tech, or other professional services
- Google Ads, YouTube, or programmatic experience
- Lead magnet and webinar funnel experience
Not required: web design or graphic design skills. That's covered.
How You Work
- A numbers and optimization savant — you read the data every day, spot the trend before anyone asks, and act on it
- Culturally aware — you know what's trending, what's tired, and what will land with a busy law firm owner scrolling at 10 PM
- Funny, on purpose — you have a great sense of humor and you're willing to push the boundaries with sarcasm, tongue-in-cheek concepts, and ads that make people stop scrolling
- Experimental — you'll test the weird idea, measure it, and kill it or scale it based on results
- You write briefs a designer can execute on the first pass
- You explain results in plain language and bring a recommendation every time
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: audit every account, fix tracking gaps, confirm HubSpot attribution, and ship your first 10 creative briefs
- By 60 days: run a steady 2 to 3 day creative cadence, launch one new lead magnet every week, and cut cost per lead from your baseline
- By 90 days: own a full-funnel report from spend to closed deal, and present a budget plan for next quarter
You'll be measured on:
- Cost per qualified booked discovery call (qualified = a law firm with $250K+ in annual revenue), plus cost per lead
- Lead-to-call and call-to-close rates by channel and campaign
- Pipeline and revenue sourced from paid
- Creative cadence and test velocity
- Budget pacing within 5% of plan
Our Culture
Our culture is the best part of working here. We're a fast, funny, no-ego team that rescues law firms from chaos, and we have a great time doing it.
- We move fast — ideas go from Slack thread to live test in days, not quarters
- We back bold ideas — comic book campaigns, superhero ads, and sarcasm that works; weird is welcome if it converts
- We're AI-first — Claude is part of the team, and we use it to do more with less busywork
- We celebrate wins loudly — every signed client and every record month gets a shout-out
- We own the outcome — you get real budget, real authority, and a team that has your back
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000 base salary
- Paid time off
- Group health insurance through Aetna
- Dental and vision coverage
- 401(k)
- Fully remote, anywhere in the US
- A dedicated in-house designer and videographer producing your creative
- Direct access to leadership and real budget authority
